Vincent Robert Sheahan's Obituary
Vincent Robert (Vince) Sheahan, of rural Miami, Okla., passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 13th, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 62 years old.
He was born June 28th, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Vernia Mae Blouin. He was a graduate of Miami High School, Class of 1978. He then attended NEO A&M College where he obtained his Associate Degree in Animal Science. On June 22nd, 1979, he married the love of his life, the former Terri Ingram, in a ceremony in Miami. They made their home south of Miami where they raised a daughter.
Vince worked for the Northeastern Tribal Health System as a Facility Manager for 9 years. He previously worked for Afton Public Schools as Facilities Manager for 15 years, and 9 years for Bill's Coal Company. He liked to keep busy by being outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, traveling, Jeeping, horseback riding, and tinkering with and fixing anything mechanical, especially any type of machinery. He was a believer in God and he held his faith in Jesus Christ.
He is preceded in death by his mother, and his grandparents, Andy and Rose Loiselle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terri, of the home, and one daughter, Ashley O'Neal and husband Austin of Broken Arrow.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17th, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. Chaplain Brian Moomey will officiate.
