Vincent Robert (Vince) Sheahan, of rural Miami, Okla., passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 13th, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 62 years old. He was born June 28th, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Ve Read Obituary
Ashley, I know it has been so many years since we have spoke. Your precious parents are always a memory that I cherish from when we were young. My sweet Vince I miss him more than I can express. Vince told me no tears but I am selfish and have to cry. He told me he would be in heaven getting everything ready for the next of us to come. Knowing Vince I am sure he is already hard at work. He was the best brother-in-law there could ever be. Sending love always to his wife Terri and daughter Ashley.
My cousin Mike Holden and I were reminiscing about Vince. Us three worked at the Townsman Restaurant. We were all about 15 to 17. A long time ago! Vince was one class under us. But we had so much fun. Vince was just one of the good guys! Then he married you Terri and I was lucky enough to get to be around you both. I can’t even imagine how he feels with his new healed body. He’s probably hiking around Heaven right now! Terri your in my prayers!!
At times like this I take comfort in the words of the 17th Century Poet and Theologian John Dunne, who tells us, “All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated..." Vince lives still, but in a language we won't understand until we too are translated accordingly.
Terri my friend of 42 years. You 2 were a breath of life to me at a time when my life wasn't exactly where it should have been. Love you both. Luckily Vince will be waiting for us. I remember all the good times. I am here for you my friend. Call me when you need a shoulder.
