Velma L. Clark's Obituary
Velma L. Clark, 92, a resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bartlesville Assisted Living. Velma was born near Rogers, Arkansas, to Claud and Pearl (Garrett) Wight on August 18, 1933. Velma graduated from Bentonville, Arkansas High School, and worked for Sam Walton at his dime store in Bentonville when she was a teenager. She married the love of her life, Creslie Clark Sr. on September 2, 1951. Together they worked and lived on farms near Seneca and Fairland. Velma loved to paint, specifically farm scenes.
Velma is preceded in passing by her husband, Creslie Clark Sr., her parents, Claud and Pearl Wight, two daughters, Connie Diane Clark and Marla Clark.
Those left to share the beautiful memory of Mrs. Clark include her three sons, Creslie Clark Jr. and his wife, Novaleen, Terry Clark and his wife Patti, Tony Clark and his wife Amie, thirteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Clark will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas.
