Susan S Scruggs' Obituary
Susan S. Scruggs, 69, a resident of Miami passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on December 29, 1942 to David R. and Roberta (Smith) Scruggs. Ms. Scruggs was a member of All Saint’s Episcopal Church. She moved to Miami in 1996 after retiring as an elementary school teacher in the Sullivan County Tennessee School System. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Patricia Trolinger.
She is survived by her brother David R. Scruggs Jr. and his wife Sue Jane, her brother in law, Don Trolinger, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Ms. Scruggs will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Miami at 11:00 AM with Reverend Noel Doherty officiating. Susan’s Services are in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Oklahoma.
The family has ask that memorial contributions be made to the Miami Shriners or the All Saints' Episcopal Church.
