A fun memory of Shirley is meeting her, by chance, in Eureka Springs. She and dad (Wm. T. Ash) had both shared genealogy information and I knew about Shirley. We met several years after dad passed. What a lovely lady she was. I loved the beautiful afgan she gave me and the other kitchen things she made. She was talented, sweet, and just a super person.
