Robert Crist Reid's Obituary
With great sadness we announce the passing of Robert C. Reid. Robert, more commonly known as Bob, was born July 3, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to Andrew and Dorothy Reid. He spent much of his career in the United States Coast Guard and retired in 1971 as a Master Chief Petty Officer Sonarman. Bob married Ramona Lee Rice on June 6, 1959. They remained in love until she passed away on December 21, 2022. Bob was known for his passion for flying. He contributed to the community in many ways by teaching others to fly and piloting prominent community members around the country.
Bob is preceded in passing by his wife, Ramona, and two children, Rory and Ramie. He is survived by his grandchildren, Catie, Ted and Grace and his three great-grandchildren, Lucy, Raya and Cheyenne.
Bob has been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma. There will be graveside services scheduled at a later date.
