I am very, very sorry for your loss. I was a year older than Paul but knew him through Jr High and High School. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met and that was clear the minute you met him. He will be deeply missed.
Met Paul as a teenager, when I had GED classes at the church. Then we worked together for at least ten years in Afton. He always was bold about Jesus Christ and we would share our faith and scriptures. He was so tender with the clients and cared so much for them. I loved Paul as a son. He was so diligent to care for his father as well as His Heavenly Father. We all loved Paul and I do not believe he had strife with anyone!!
Well done, they good and faithful servant. I believe All of heaven stopped, stood up, shouted Hallelujah and rejoiced at his homecoming

Paul was the embodiment of what a follower of Christ should be. He showed grace, love and compassion to those around him. In spite of living hundreds of miles away and not seeing Paul since high school, I know this firsthand. I was unkind as a child and not a good friend. Not only did Paul forgive me, but he allowed for us to become friends. I will forever be thankful to Paul for being an example of God's grace and for the opportunity to get to know Paul on a deeper level. I praise God that Paul is no longer suffering but that he is rejoicing in heaven with his Lord and family.

Paul was one of the nicest guys in school. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. I pray for the repose of his soul and for peace and comfort for the family.
Back in school, so many years ago, I really considered Paul a friend and a nice person. He didn't have it easy, but you could see the try and love in his heart. May he Rest In Peace and know that many lives are saddened by this loss.
