There was only one Kathleen Hamilton. There will never be another. I knew her from the time I was six years old as well as her parents and sister Marilyn. She and Bud would kiss good night on the front porch for ages and I would ride my tricycle by and say, "Kathleen's got a boyfriend!" I'm sure she wanted to kill me. But I always loved the Staton family. They were all special and kind to me and my mother while my Dad served in World War II. When I think of Kathleen, it always makes me smile. She was always beautiful in her turquoise jewelry. I will really miss her. My deepest sympathy to Kay and the family.
