James Lee Stanley's Obituary
James Lee Stanley, 84, a longtime Miami resident, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. James was born in Miami to Luther Joel and Edith Rosetta (House) Stanley. On August 18, 1962, in Miami at their friend's house, he married the love of his life, Mary M. Wood. He worked as a salesman for many years for Air Gas Mid-South. Mr. Stanley was preceded in passing by his parents, Luther and Edith Stanley, his son James "Jimmy" Leonard Stanley, and his sister, Rose Mary Lynch.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Wood) Stanley, of the home, and his son, David Lee Stanley, of Miami.
James' wishes were for cremation. Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
