Ernest "Pete" Jackson Wilmoth's Obituary
Ernest “Pete” Jackson Wilmoth, 89, formerly of Fairland passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home in Spiro, Oklahoma. Pete as most knew him was born on December 19, 1924 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Arthur and Eda (Mathis) Wilmoth. On June 11, 1946 he married his love of sixty-eight years Mable Simmons in Columbus, Kansas. Mr. Wilmoth was a Veteran of the United State Army, he loved to work in his yard, mowing and working with his flowers but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren whom he loved to spend time with. Pete was preceded in passing by his parents Arthur and Eda, his brothers and sisters; Thelma Meyer, Steve Wilmoth, Josie Cunningham, Mae Franklin, Mary Cullison and Francis Wilmoth and a great great grandson Bricen Oden.
Survivors include his wife Mable Wilmoth of the home, his daughter Pamala Holden and her husband Gary, his daughter Jackie Schaefer and her husband Harold and son Steve Wilmoth and his wife Linda, his grandchildren; James Blaylock, Tasha Sebo, Scott Holden, Todd Schaefer, Stephanie Leitzke and husband Mark, Leslie Hoyt, Clayton Schaefer and wife Christie, Wesley Schaefer, Gabe Schaefer, Michelle Martin and her husband Tim, Brian Wilmoth, and Misty Moncada, his great grandchildren, Aaron Blaylock, Hailey Holden, Xander Holden, Ashley Schaefer, Brittani Oden, Morgan Schaefer, Whitney Corn, Anthony Hoyt, Janson Lietzke, Jaden Lietzke, Harlee Schaefer, Easton Schaefer, Cayden Schaefer, Katelyn Martin, Robert Wilmoth, Calli Moncada, Kilee Martin and Kalee Martin, and a great great grandson are Boston Oden along with his many nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5 - 7:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
