Adding a photo from Mom, Myrna Wilmoth Doering, with a note she sent to me: "I wanted to share my favorite picture of Uncle Pete and your Grandpa on the porch of your Grandpa's house in Fairland. Uncle Pete and your Grandpa were always comfortable together and so enjoyed each other's company. It is said that when we die, we will see our loved ones again and this is how I like to remember them."

I have the fondest memories of Uncle Pete from my childhood. He always had a smile and twinkle in his eye, and I loved to give him "sugar" -- kisses and hugs. He was a kind, wonderful man. Rest in peace, Uncle Pete, and give Grandpa a hug from me. --Tracy Doering

Uncle Pete always had time to share with his nieces and nephews and never made us feel that what we had to say was unimportant. For this alone he has a place in heaven, but, I know that there are many other reasons that he is in the Lords Arms today. He was simply a good man with a great heart! ---His neice, Myrna Doering

Aunt Mable, Stevie, Pam and Jackie----I have been trying to upload a favorite picture I have on my wall of Uncle Pete and my Dad on the porch of what was then Dad's new house and I think my dial- up server is too slow, so will send it to Tracy and maybe she will upload it for me.
