Bonita "Bonnie" Marie Howe's Obituary
Bonita “Bonnie” Marie Howe, a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother passed away early Sunday, the morning of June 16, 2013, she was fifty-nine. Bonnie was born on February 2, 1954 in Miami, Oklahoma to Donald Lee and Betty Ann (Pierce) Chenoweth. She graduated from Welch High School and then from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where she was a Norse Star. She married her husband of thirty-eight years Donnie Howe on March 14, 1975 in Welch. Bonnie is currently the director of the Miami Senior Center. She was well known as a seamstress and was employed by bridal boutiques to alter and make wedding gowns and flower arrangements. Bonnie also loved cooking and loved to do so for her family. She loved her kids and grandchildren and did not miss an event that they were a part of. Bonnie was preceded in passing by her father Donald Lee Chenoweth along with two sisters Tracy Chenoweth, Angela Chenoweth and a brother Tom Chenoweth.
Survivors include her husband Donnie Howe of the home her three children Shawn Howe and his wife Marni of Welch, Jessi Maple and her husband Cody of Miami, Sarah Beckwith and her husband Jo of Miami. She is also survived by her brothers Eric Chenoweth, Rod Chenoweth, Don Paul Chenoweth, Mike Chenoweth and a sister Wendy Beaty, her grandchildren Tanner Maple, Alidale Howe, Emma Maple, Brelee Maple, Rhett Howe, Carli Jo Beckwith and Hayden Beckwith. Other survivors include her mother in law Inez Friend, sister in laws Quannah Owens and Rhonda McMinn and a special friend Connie Molder.
There will be a Rosary at St. Ann’s Parish in Welch at 5:00 PM on June 18, 2013. That will be followed by visitation at the Welch Civic Center from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Services will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the First Assembly of God in Miami with Reverend M.E. Cashen officiating. Interment will follow at the Welch Cemetery under the Care of the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
