Oh how I love Anna. I loved being her friend. She told me so many stories about her boys, wow!
She loved them fiercely as only a mama can. Visiting her off and on to the last few months was amazing for my husband and I. She was so looking forward to going home. She had a wonderful attitude. And she was a very good example to me in a lot of ways.
I hope I can be half the woman she is.
I couldn't believe how her mind was so sharp for having Alzheimer's. She probably told me stories that the boys wouldn't want me to know, but they were so funny and some not so funny. But they were memories from a mama's heart.
Enjoy your new home Anna with all your loved ones that you've missed for a long time.

I remember knowing Anna when I was a youngster running around Beatty creek with the boys (Jim, Justin and George). They lived up on the highway from us and I spent a lot of time with them. Anna was always nice to me and always let us know that Wayne was her brother and how she protected him. I did not understand how this would affect me personally until my son Brady came along many years later. Anna was like a second mother as I grew up and went to school with her Boys and Girls. When she needed to get after us, she would do it in a positive way and make us feel bad about what we done instead of just yelling at us. I will always remember her smile and genuine caring for all of us as we grew up together.
Anna could out fish me by a long shot!!!
Anna will be greatly missed by the Tanner Family and thought about often.

I first met Anna when she was our Realtor and sold us a waterfront cabin in 1995. She had such a good sense of humor. Then got to know her better when I became a Realtor at C21 in 2002. She was always helpful and encouraging. Many times thru the years sharing stories filled with laughter. But a favorite memory is the wedding present she gave me for my 2nd marriage. And the ornery/gleeful look and smile when I opened it! Anna Mae, you will be missed!
