Wilma F Barton's Obituary
Wilma Faye Barton, 68, of Afton, Oklahoma gained her wings on December 18, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Wilma was born on April 19, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas to Herman and Emma (Randall) Schupp. She was raised in Augusta, Kansas on her parents farm. Later on she moved off to where she met the father of her children, Butch Barton. She later moved to Afton, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life Ronald Turner. Wilma was a CNA most of her life. She was the sweetest, most caring, loving person you would have ever met. When she walked into the room that smile always lit up the room.
Those left to the share the memory of Mrs. Barton is her husband of twenty-three years, Ronald Edward Turner. Her three children, Joseph Henson of Lexington, Oklahoma, Henry Allen Barton of Afton, Oklahoma, and Melissa Barton of Afton, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Alanea Kester, Holly Griffith, Shyanne Barton, and Brittany Barton, also one great granddaughter, Waylon Mahurin. She also had five step children whom she adored, as well as many step-grandchildren and greats. She also left behind one brother Mark Schupp and a sister Daisy Dorthy. She also had three pets who were also her children, Sally, Kid, and Chris the fish.
She will be laid to rest with her brother, Andrew Henson, her sisters, Leona Bohannan, Brenda Duvall, Cathy, Rena Graham and her mother, Emma Schupp.
Graveside Services are 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Mr. Steven Williams officiating.
Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
