Can't believe you've been gone for 7 years. Miss you my friend. ❤
WD, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I miss you and what your friendship has meant to me over these many decades. My family and I truly morn your passing yet, we celebrate your life and what you have done for others. When I see you again we will laugh and relive the "good ole days".
WD, I love you and miss you “all the way.” I wish you would have shared what you were going through over the past months. You are a race horse man forever, and that's only a small reason I admired you. I wish you could see these two colts; I know you would be feeling all over them looking for that magical “mark” that would tell you whether they could really run or not. I ask God to bless your family and those who took care of you in the end. I hope your granddaughter will always have the courage and sincerity to tell people close to her, “I love you” without fear or hesitation of how that might be received (just like you always did). And I also hope the Quarter Horse racing community will find a way to memorialize your achievements; you never made a big deal about them, but I know you appreciated those glory years and the opportunities God gave you. I know you believed very strongly in God, so I'll see you some day in that “big racetrack in the sky,” as you put it.
So sorry to lose our longtime friend. We know that you are with our Lord in Heaven enjoying eternal peace. We will never forget your big smile. Wish we had known you were ill to comfort and help you during your last days here on earth. We will see you on the other side. Peace our Friend.
My heart goes out to Little Bill and your grandchildren. You were more like my big brother than my nephew. We went lots of places together, and you always stopped by when in the area. I will miss you a lot. Love, Mary Margaret (Taylor) Switzer
Bill, you fought a tough battle and your body grew tired and weary. It's time now for you to go rest high on that Mountain, my friend. I am so thankful to have been able to spend time with you during your illness.
Happy Trails to you til we meet again!! I miss you.
And to Billy, Deana, Brianna and Savannah; so sorry for your loss and just know that you are all in our hearts.

Bill is my cousin, and our family didn't realize he was ill until recently. Most of my memories of Bill, are of our growing up years, when my parents, brothers and I would travel from Kansas to Oklahoma to spend time with my Uncle Ab, Aunt Jean, and Bill. I will never forget how much he loved his family and the joy that he experienced through his love and knowledge of horses. He had a kind and gentle heart, and he made the world a better place. I regret not getting to see him as much during our adult years. May he rest in peace with his parents in Heaven.
Bill, don't know what happened in the last year but know that your in a better place now. Bob Taylor, Eldorado, Kansas
We will miss you my friend.
