My heart is heavy to hear of our dear friend Ed’s passing. He and I worked together at the Nanci Corporation back in the early 90’s. He was a great inspiration to me and always encouraging to everyone. He had a kind spirit, everyone loved Ed. We had so many wonderful laughs together. The world was a better place with him in it.
Praying peace over his family and friends during this time. Rest in Peace my sweet friend.
I am so, so sad to hear of Eddie’s passing. He was a great friend to me for close to 20 years. Eddie and I worked together at FOX23. He was my graphic artist and floor director. There wasn’t a day that went by where we weren’t laughing or picking on each other. Eddie was with me when I got married, divorced, and when I left TV. He was always there to harass me even when I didn’t want him to! The stories I could share, the memories we had and the laughter that was made. Eddie was a great man and I’m forever grateful to have known him. Eddie, my heart hurts, but my soul knows you are no longer in pain. I worked with Eddie at FOX 23. He was a vital part of our team, such a hard worker, and always someone you could count on to take care of business. But more than that…Eddie brought soul to the newsroom. He always had a smile and a joke, or if we were lucky, a tale from his days in Miami. Man, could he make us laugh. Eddie and I worked together at BOK early in our careers. He taught me so much about graphic design on a Mac; a new field back in the day. He called me Nerd and I called him Nerd right back. He will be missed.

Eddie had such a kind and loving soul. I’m so thankful that his pain is over. He was so proud of his home and he loved his family and friends fiercely. I was blessed to be a part of his family.
Eddie has always been enthusiastic and caring ! He was in my afternoon Kindergarten class the year that Steve won the Hiesman Trophy. The winner was announced at noon. When Eddie came in that day, he was so happy and excited that the class could hardly talk about anything else ! He was a joy ! With much love……..Nancy Gee
The people around him, and this world in general, are better off for having had my Wardog brother Eddie in it. I'm sorrowful and confused in this loss, yet mine is not to ask why, as all things are according to the Good Lord's plan. I'm greatly comforted in the thought that there is no more pain or stress in the arms of Christ and the presence of our Holy Mother Mary. With a kind and humble heart, beautiful attitude and ethic in everything he did, such a broad range of talents, and a good humored wit, there's no doubt in my mind that Eddie's in a very good place. I will never forget the smile Eddie always seemed to have on his face, whether it was in grade school, Jr. High or High School. He always warmed the room with his kind heart and made everyone feel cared for.
He is a precious soul and I know he will be missed by all of us.
