William Raymond Altebaumer's Obituary
William Raymond "Satch" Altebaumer, Jr., 77, a longtime Miami resident, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center, after a short illness. William was born July 28, 1937 in Centralia, OK to William George Altebaumer and Eleanor (Miller) Altebaumer. He was a graduate of Miami High School. He had a passion for carpentry and worked many years for Junior McGee. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Johnny Altebaumer. He is survived by one brother, Leo Altebaumer and wife Donna of Joplin, MO, several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as aunts and uncles and a host of friends. A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, OK, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the GAR Cemetery in Miami, OK. Father Carl Kerkemeyer will officiate.
