Walter Leon Scott's Obituary
Walter Leon Scott Passed Away Peacefully on September 26, 2025, after a three-year fight with Parkinson’s while resting at Higher Call Nursing Facility in Quapaw, Oklahoma. Walter was born on January 1st, 1944, in Plains, Montana. He was 81 years old. There will be a celebration of life held in Montana at a later date.
Walter and Roxie would include everyone when they were together. Walt would help anyone that he could. He was a family man. He loved being around his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Walter is survived by two brothers. Buddy Scott and his wife, Laurie Scott, and Tony Scott, all of Troy, Montana. He has three sons, Patrick Leon Scott from Libby, Montana, Mike Scott, and his wife, Cindi Scott, and family from Thompson Falls, Montana, and Brian Scott and his Wife, Misty Scott, from Quapaw, Oklahoma. He has three grandkids. Patrick Ray Scott and Fiancé Kailee Caldwell, Devin Scott and his wife Lillian Scott, and Katelyn Scott. He Has Four great-grandkids, Cecil Scott and River Scott, Sienna Scott and Torben Davis, And Many others that was not by blood. Walter has many Nieces And nephews. Walter is preceded in death by his wife, RoxieAnn Scott; His mother, Edith Scott; His father, Lionel Scott; and His Daughter, Connie Lynn Scott.
Walter loved to hunt, fish, cut firewood, and work in the shop on vehicles. We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the Lessons, he taught us, the love he showed, and the memories. We will cherish forever. Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have been honored for his long years of fatherly love. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
