Walsie L. Aday's Obituary
Longtime Miami resident Walsie Aday left this world behind and entered into eternity on Saturday October 8, 2011 in Miami, Oklahoma.
Walsie has lived most all of her life in Miami, traveling back and forth from Oak Grove, Arkansas. On October 6, 1946 Mr. Leon Aday took Miss Walsie as his bride in Green Forst, Arkansas. They both have been life long members of the Church of Christ.
Walsie enjoyed working puzzles, card and computer games. She was known to many as the balloon and candy lady at church.
Walsie is survived by her husband of 65 years: Leon Aday of the home, 1 Son: Jerry Aday of Topeka, Kansas 3 Nieces: Jackie Robinson, Jennie Ramsey, and Phyllis Benfield. One Nephew Kenney Brasswell. and many longtime friends, neighbors and church family.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday October 11, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Miami, Oklahoma. Pastor Bobby Keys will be officiating the service.
