Tonya Lee McGuire's Obituary
Tonya Lee McGuire came into this world on March 28, 1978 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2017, surrounded by family and friends. She leaves behind two daughters, Olivia Clare and Allison McGuire of the home, parents Rhonda and Gerald (JD) McGuire, grandmother, Becky Riggs and Ant Vicki Nelson, all of Welch, Oklahoma, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Tonya graduated from Collinsville High School in 1996, then obtained her BSN in Nursing from the University Center of Tulsa in 2001. She spent her entire career employed as a registered nurse, most recently as a nurse manager with the Department of Veteran's Affairs in Vinita, Oklahoma. She considered it an honor to get to serve her veteran's. Tonya's greatest accomplishment in life was in her role as mother. She was so proud of her girls and supported them in everything they did. She was always there for them from 4-H sheep barns to the pumpkin patch. The family will received friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Welch Baptist Church. Pastor Tyson Wynn will officiate. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Scott Conway, Eric Pankey, Kendal Goodell, Tony Krenz, Dalton Krenz, and Ransen Horton. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Nathan Krenz, Dusty Morgan, V.O. Morgan, Willie Morgan, Melvin Morgan, Harold Morgan, and Troy Lester. Tonya will be laid to rest in the Welch Cemetery.
