Tomi Lynn Hatfield's Obituary
Tomi Lynn Hatfield, 75, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, following a long illness.
Born on April 22, 1951, in Miami, Oklahoma, Tomi was the beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She graduated from Miami High School in 1969. Tomi was known for her kindness, her deep love of family, and her ability to make those around her feel genuinely loved.
Tomi enjoyed many activities throughout her life. In her younger years, she loved to dance. She enjoyed raising her kitties, swimming, and floating in her pool. Tomi loved to cook, and her family treasured the many wonderful meals she prepared with love.
Tomi and her husband, Danny, could often be found traveling throughout the area as he played with the band. From time to time, Tomi would join in and sing alongside him. She retired from the Northeast Tribal Indian Clinic. Tomi dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Miami, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Danny Hatfield, of Miami, Oklahoma; her sister, Robyn Houston of Lewisville Texas; her son, Jeff Teal, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Teal, of Miami, Oklahoma; her daughter, Christy Sharman, and son-in-law, Russell Sharman, of Columbus, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kyle Foster and wife Katie, of Miami, Oklahoma, Cody Teal of Miami, Oklahoma, Savannah Sharman of Jacksonville, Florida, and Austin Sharmin of Columbus, Georgia, great granddaughter, Koralai Foster; her niece, Diana Fox, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Alan Rupard of Lewisville Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Verna Chandler, and her nephew, Andrew Rupard.
Tomi will be deeply missed and forever remembered until we are all united again.
Tomi’s wishes were for cremation. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
