Tom Chenoweth's Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Patrick Chenoweth, 45, of Welch, OK, passed away April 2, 2013 in Miami. He was born November 3, 1967 to Don and Betty (Pierce) Chenoweth. He was a graduate of Welch High School, Class of 1986. He married Deanna Jones on November 7, 1992. They were married for twenty years. In December of 1996, Tom became a member of the Miami Fire Dept. He held the rank of driver and was also an E.M.T. as well as a member of the I.A.F.F. He was medically retired on January 31, 2013. Tom was an avid KC Chiefs and OU Fan. He was the biggest fan of his own kid's teams. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all, his family. He will be greatly missed. Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Don; 2 infant sisters, Tracy and Angela; brother-in-law, Ronnie Beaty; and 1 nephew, Sam Beaty. He is survived by 1 son, Eli Chenoweth; 2 daughters, Hannah and Malarie Chenoweth, all of Miami; his mother, Betty Chenoweth, of Welch; 4 brothers, Don Paul Chenoweth and his wife Tammy, Mike Chenoweth and his wife Jana, Rod Chenoweth and his wife Cynthia, and Eric Chenoweth and his wife Krystal, all of Welch; 2 sisters, Wendy Beaty of Welch and Bonita Howe and her husband Donnie of Miami; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. There will be a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Welch. A visitation for family and friends will be held following the rosary from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Welch Civic Center. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Welch Civic Center. Rev. M.E. Cashen will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be brothers, Don Paul, Mike, Rod, and Eric Chenoweth. Also serving will be nephews, Shawn Howe, Dakota, Seth, and Asa Chenoweth. Honorary pallbearers will be Eli Chenoweth, Gabe, Wes, and Clayton Schaefer, Todd Chaney, Alan Armstrong, David Perryman, and his brothers of the Miami Fire Dept. Interment at the Welch City Cemetery, Welch, OK.
