Timothy Wayne Evans' Obituary
Timothy Wayne Evans, 55, of Afton, Okla., passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO, from injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born August 6, 1964 in Clinton, Okla. to Samuel Thomas Evans and Lois Marie (Henry) Evans. He was currently employed by Simmons Feed Mill in Fairland. He was also an accomplished carpenter and put his skills to use in his spare time.
He was a joy to be around, and it was obvious by the number of friends he had. He loved his family, carpentry, the outdoors, fishing, his kayak, and most of all, family gatherings.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Coty Evans; and a sister, Mary Hickman
He is survived by the love of his life, Pam King, of Afton; 2 sons, Johnathan Evans of Tulsa, and Josh Evans and wife Taylor of Owasso; 4 bonus daughters, Latosha Green of Miami, Kalee Scott of Miami, and Twyla King of Afton; 4 brothers, Samuel Evans of Olive, Okla., Larry Evans of Sand Springs, Chris Evans of Sand Springs, Darren Cotton of Weatherford, Okla., and Zackary Evans; 6 sisters, Sherry Wood, Melinda Hilton, Debbie Dobbins, Lisa Hoover, Teresa Baker, and Shawnna Evans; 4 grandchildren, Kaison, Gannon, Huxley, and Brinklee Evans, and a bonus grandchild, Malachi Carmons; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home Chapel in Welch. Dean Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sixkiller Cemetery, Afton, Okla. Casket bearers will be Johnathan, Josh, Samuel, Chris, Larry, and Sammy Evans, Bub Wood, and David Smith. Honorary casket bearers will be Kaison, Gannon, and Huxley Evans.
