Thomas Lewis Green's Obituary
Thomas Lewis Green, 65, a resident of Afton, OK, passed away Friday morning, November the 22nd, 2024, at Integris Miami Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Miami, OK on May the 13th, 1959 to Thomas Lee Green and Dorothy Dean (Mathis) Green.
Thomas was a handyman by trade, learning the art of construction from his father. He loved to raise animals of all types, fishing, and his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Christa Green; a sister, Teresa Green; and his grandparents, Earl and Lula Mathis, and Lewis and Adeline Green.
He is survived by is mother, Dorothy Hinkle, of Afton; his children, Steven Jackson and wife Tosha of Muskogee, Latosha Green of Vinita, Twyla King of Afton, Thomas Green of Wichita, KS, and Troy Holmes of Miami; his siblings, Pamela Sue King of Afton, Rebecca McClintock of Tulsa, and Gregory Green of Afton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November the 26th, at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Indian Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Michael and Shawn Hudson, David Mathis, Charles Reeves, Jr., Marshall and David Green. Honorary casket bearer will be Danny Mathis.
