Tammie W Jackson's Obituary
Tammie W. Jackson, 63, a lifetime area resident passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She was born on Miami on April 15, 1960, to Vearl Wayne and Sharon Joyce (Woody) Mullin. She graduated from Afton High School and worked as an accountant for the Department of Corrections until her retirement. After her retirement she worked as a sub for the schools and helped her daughter with her children. She attended the First Assembly of God in Afton where she was very active. She worked as the secretary but would help with everything. Being a mom was her favorite job until she had grandkids, and then they became her whole world. Tammie was preceded in passing by her father Vearl Mullin, her husband Larry E. Schroeder.
Those left to share Tammie’s memory are her mother Sharon Mullin, her husband Robert Jackson, children Travis Schroeder and his wife Ruth, KaCee Wheeler and her husband Josh, Robert Jackson Jr. and his wife Auni, Calen Jackson and his wife Krystal, Kayleigh Tate and her husband Walter and Hattie Briggs and her husband Chas, her grandchildren Chase Wheeler, Cade Wheeler, Jude Wheeler and Moriah Wheeler along with ten grandchildren on the Jackson side. She also had a dog Oakley that she loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton on Friday, December 22, 2023.
Tammie's Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at First Assembly of God in Afton with Reverend Josh Wheeler officiating. Interment will be private at Fairland Lutheran Cemetery.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Tammie's honor to First Assembly of God's Children's Ministry.
