Suzan L. Carr's Obituary
Suzan L. Carr, 61, of Miami, OK, passed away Sunday afternoon, May the 11th, 2025, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Baxter Springs, KS on February the 13th, 1964 to her parents, Danny Himes and Ruby Ann (Moody) Himes.
On August the 22nd, 2003, she married Charles Carr, and they made their home in rural Miami. She worked 15 years as a forklift operator for Blitz, USA until her health forced her to retire.
She loved dachshund's, fishing every chance she got, and tinkering in the shop with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Miami; her mother, Ruby Saenz of Miami; two children, Jimmy Dale Carver and Jennifer Carver; two siblings, Brenda Himes Smith of North Miami, and Danny Himes of Texas; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside Celebration of Life will be held later. She will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, KS.
