Steven James Henson's Obituary
Steven James Henson, 96, a resident of rural Welch, OK, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, at Saint Francis-Vinita Hospital.
He was born September the 13th, 1930, in Vinita to John Henson and Lydia (Christie) Henson. He was a graduate of Vinita High School.
He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an electrical engineer for over 50 years, working for McDonnell-Douglas, Lockheed Martin, and lastly, for Baker Hughes in Claremore. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with anything electrical, building and flying model airplanes, and fishing.
He is survived by two children, Linda Barber and husband Steven, and Steven Henson, Jr. and wife Marjorie, all of Titusville, FL; and four grandchildren, Brandy, Steven, Arron, and Destiny.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch.
