We loved this man from the first time my sister, Nita Vanatta brought him to family dinners and functions. Throughout the years he became more than a brother-in law, he was our brother and his family became our family. He took excellent care of our sister when she was dying of cancer. We watched and prayed for him as he tried to move on with his life and were so thankful when he met and married Sherri Vanatta. She was good for Steve and together they formed a good and happy life filled with love for all of the kids and the grandchildren. Steve, you have earned your rest, you will be sadly missed by those of us that knew you and loved you. Tell we met again brother we will carry you in our hearts and memories.
