Ruth Ann Fisher's Obituary
Ruth Ann Fisher, 65, of Vinita, OK, passed away July 17, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after an illness. She was born July 12, 1952 in Salem, MO to Howard Stewart and Linda Lou (Lowe) Stewart. After she graduated high school, she attended college and earned her Associates Degree. She attended nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. She retired from nursing after many years with the Oklahoma Forensics Center in Vinita. She loved to spend time gardening, canning fruits and vegetables, working with her fruit trees, but she found the most joy in watching her grandchildren grow up. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeremy, and one step-daughter, Sherry Johnson. She is survived by one daughter, Cherokee Green of Vinita; two sons, Buck Green of Vinita and Johnnie Green of Tulsa; two step daughters, Terri Webster and Connie Swango; one brother, Jeb Stewart; and six grandchildren, Spencer, Alexis, Isabella, and Chloe Green, and Gage and Kacie Lawellin. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, with Pastor Tyson Wynn officiating.
