Rosa Albertine Golden's Obituary
Rosa Albertine Golden, 82, of Bluejacket, OK, passed away at her home Tuesday evening, June 27th, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Joplin, MO on May 6th, 1941 to Paul Compton and Bertha (Tibergien) Compton. She was a graduate of Quapaw High School.
Rosa was united in marriage to Marvin Frost, Sr. She was later married to LeRoy Golden, and they made their home in Bluejacket. She was a homemaker. She loved doing artwork, cooking for family and friends, crocheting, reading, crafting, working puzzles, and playing Scrabble. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bluejacket.
She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Golden and her first husband, Marvin Frost, Sr.; her parents; a brother, Joseph; a sister, Mary; and two stepsons, James Golden and Daniel Stand.
She is survived by three children, Tina Chandler and husband James of Afton, Marvin Frost and wife Heather of Miami, and Doug Frost and wife Christina of Seneca, MO; two siblings, Shirley Tallent of Springfield, MO and Paul Compton, Jr. of the State of Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren that she greatly adored, Jeaneé Kennedy, Brandy Hutching, Aaron Frost, Allen Frost, Cheyanne Way, Shelby Chandler, James Golden, Holden and Hayden Radford, and Cody and Emily Chandler; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bluejacket in the near future. Pastor Austin Clark will officiate.
