Ronald Lee Thornton's Obituary
Ronald Lee Thornton, 75, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Thornton was born on May 20, 1948, in Evansville, Indiana to Raymond Sr. and Ruth Violet (Doninger) Thornton. He worked for eighteen years at Pepsi Cola as a Machine Technician. On October 5, 2002, in Cassville, Missouri he married his love of twenty-one years Rebecca (Turner) Thornton. Ronald and Becky moved to the Fairland area about eighteen years ago. He enjoyed woodworking and building cabinets. His favorite hobby was working on his cars. He loved to restore old vehicles, his current vehicles were a 1950 Ford and a 68 Fairlane. Ronald was preceded in passing by his parents Raymond and Ruth Thornton, two brothers and one sister.
Those left to share his memory is his wife Rebecca Thornton and his children Ronda Reed and her husband Jeff, Bobby Kilgore, Shane McNabb, and Corey Miller, his brother Tom, and two sisters Rose and Debbie. Also surviving are his seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services are pending at this time and have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
