Roger Ward's Obituary
Roger Ray Ward was born March 3, 1945 to Ray Benjamin Ward and Hettie Jean (Scarlet) Ward in Marshall, Ark. He passed away July 6, 2015 in Miami, Okla. Roger married Eldonna Lyda on July 28, 1990. He was a member of Cutting Edge Ministries in Miami and was an avid deer and turkey hunter.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, daughters, Rebecca Ann Watts of Pittsburgh, Kan., and Lesslie Peek and Husband Robert of Claremore, Okla., sons, Perry Purdum and wife Brooke of Owasso, Okla., and William “Bill” Purdum and wife Tracey of Owasso, Okla., brothers Norman Ward, and Melvin Ward of Marshall, Ark., nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren
Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday July 18, 2015 at Cutting Edge Ministries. Arrangements are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
