Roger Dean Carlisle's Obituary
Roger Dean Carlisle, 74, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Grove Nursing Center. Roger was born on June 3, 1950, in San Bernardino, California, to Jessie Carlisle and Betty Flowers. Growing up, Roger worked with his family as a migratory agriculture worker. He would later work as a tile layer for many years. He also worked as a carpenter, and later in life a home health professional. He married his wife, Sandra George on October 4, 2000, together they would spend many wonderful years together. He was a very loving and caring person, who cared for people who couldn’t care for themselves. When we was not working Roger enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Roger is preceded in passing by his parents, Jessie Carlisle and Betty Bostain, and his brothers, Donnie and Dale Carlisle.
Those left to share the memory of Mr. Carlisle include his wife, Sandra Carlisle, sons, Philip Carlisle and his wife, Trisha, Chris Carlisle, Joe Carlisle, and Steven Carlisle. Roger also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for Mr. Carlisle at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland, Oklahoma.
