Richard A. Wilfong's Obituary
Richard A. Wilfong, 66, of Welch, OK, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, August the 21st, 2024.
He was born May the 8th, 1958 in Bonne Terre, MO, to Andrew A. Wilfong and Wilma L. (Carver) Wilfong. On December the 21st, 1996, he married the former Rebecca Brown in Miami, OK.
Richard was truck driver for 30 years, most recently for G&G Trucking. When not on the truck, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and anything outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Joan L. Whaley, Thelma F. Blackwell, and Carol A. Crump.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of the home; a son, Jonathan Wilfong, of the home; two brothers, Wayne A. Wilfong, Sr. and wife Sheila of Needles, CA and Larry Wilfong, Sr. of Winnemucca, NV; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later time.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home.
