Richard Talley's Obituary
Richard Franklin Talley a seventy-nine year old resident of Claremore passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Mr. Talley was born on January 16, 1940 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Floyd Franklin and Pricilla Marie (Hunt) Talley. On November 28, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma he married his love of sixty-one years Karen Gaston. Dick worked in the heating and air industry for most of his life. He sold his business but continued to work for the company for many years. He and his wife were members of Easton Heights Baptist Church, where he was also a Deacon. He enjoyed the outdoors taking care of his yard feeding the birds, but also enjoyed drag racing. Mr. Talley was preceded in passing by his parents Floyd and Pricilla Talley and his two sisters Donna Noland and Pat Caviness, and his grandson-in-law Jeffery Drake.
The family he leaves to share his memories are his wife Karen Talley of the home, his children Michele Brown and her husband Don of Wyandotte and Mark Talley and his wife Amy of Verdigris, his grandchildren Jennifer Ridge, Whitney Hartman and her husband Luke, Tyler Brown, Dillon Roberts, Trevor Roberts and Jordan Roberts, along with his great grandchildren Chase Jeffery Ridge, Layla Hartman, Lane Hartman, Kayson Roberts, Kinlee Roberts and Khloe Roberts and a brother in law Ralph Noland.
Services for Mr. Talley will be 2:00 PM at Easton Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Reverend Perry Cox officiating. Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.
