Richard Edward Jones-Clark's Obituary
Richard Edward Jones-Clark, 68, of rural Bluejacket, OK, passed away Monday, September the 19th, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO, after a short illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 5th, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard Raymond Clark and Betty Sue (Harris) Clark.
Richard owned and operated his own trucking business for 47 years. He would haul anything, anywhere it needed to go, to support his family. He loved visiting, watching westerns, trucking, and joke telling. His life revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, and a brother, Raymond Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Clark, of the home; four children, Dusty Sanderson of Bluejacket, Teresa Carpenter (Stan), of Welch, Travis Jones (Erin Bruce) of Bluejacket, and Nicole Robbins and husband Tyler, of Dustin, OK; four siblings, Pam Luety (Earl), Jimmy Clark, Deidra Garrett, and Deanna Cannon; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later time.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch.
