Richard's only family was his brothers and sisters at the Miami Church of Christ. He was a faithful and giving man. He was never a problem and never had a bad word to say about anyone. We will forever remember him when we see his empty pew and probably always look for him to be walking around town taking care of errands. Now he will becwalking the streets of heaven. Let's all be like Richard!
Richard had a genuine servant’s heart, and quietly helped and encouraged many, without need for attention or recognition… I know he was an encouragement to me! He lived a simple, faithful life of service, and will be greatly missed by his church family! May he enjoy his well-deserved heavenly reward!
Richard was probably the kindest, sweetest and most gentle man I have ever known. He was very giving, but was very timid and embarrassed about receiving help. It could be lightning and pouring rain, but he would never let me give him a lift, not even if he was walking from Walmart. There was never a more faithful man. If Richard wasn’t in his pew, there was something wrong. God has taken him home to be with him now, but Richard, you have left your place in my heart forever. I love you and will miss you.
