Raymond E Watson's Obituary
Raymond Eugene Watson Sr., 84, a resident of Commerce passed on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center. He was born on September 18, 1930 in Galena, Kansas to Fred and Girtha (Avery) Watson. Mr. Watson was a veteran of the United States Army. Raymond owned Watson Insurance Company for many years. Raymond was preceded in passing by his parents Fred and Girtha, a sister Lenore a brother Buster and brother Virgil.
Survivors include his wife Betty Rose (Howerton) Watson of the home, a son Raymond E. Watson Jr. of McKinney, Texas, a daughter Sharon K Blalack of Stillwater, Oklahoma, a son Dennis W. Watson of Miami along with a brother Lester Watson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 6-7 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Miami.
Services are 10:00 AM Thursday, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service’s Chapel with Reverend Howie Moss officiating. Interment will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery with Military Rites being provided by Fort Sill’s Funeral Honors Team.
