Randall Glen Prater's Obituary
Randall Glen Prater, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, he was 59. Randy was born on August 23, 1957 in Joplin, Missouri to Kenneth and Lola (Roberts) Prater. He was a graduate of Wyandotte High School, and then enlisted into the United States Marines. He married his wife of thirty-eight years, Rita Leist on August 5, 1978. Mr. Prater owned his company that was founded in 1903 Prater Hardwood Products Inc. since 1981. Randy was THE Cardinals Fan. He enjoyed woodworking and building things around the house. He also enjoyed working in his gardens and flower beds.
His family includes his parents Kenneth and Lola Prater, his wife Rita Prater of the home, his children Sarah Prater of Wyandotte, Hannah Lollar and her husband Derric of Fairland, Chris Prater and his wife Jill of Wyandotte, a brother Rick Prater and his wife Diana of Wyandotte, and his grandchildren; Stone, Shana, Nicholas, Grant, Abigail, Cedar, Samuel, Asher and Addilyn.
There will be a time of Visitation from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
