Quincy O. Cunningham's Obituary
Quincy (Womack) Dodge Cunningham, 80, of Miami, OK, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Miami Nursing Center, after an illness. She was born October 13, 1936 in Southwest City, MO to Ernest Womack and Gladys (Morris) Womack. She was a graduate of Miami High School, Class of 1954. In 1964, she married Leslie C. Dodge in Mexico. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1990. Quincy worked for various businesses throughout her life including Langley Western Store. She was an avid homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed helping with the farm/ranch operation, and was a talented florist and photographer. She was a longtime member of Grace Church in Miami. Quincy was preceded in death by her parents; 3 spouses; 1 son; 1 daughter; and 2 brothers. She is survived by 1 daughter, Anita Couch and husband David of Miami; 2 sons, Clifford Dodge of Tahlequah, and Lee Dodge and wife Jo Ann of Wills Pointe, TX; 4 grandchildren, Summer Rose Schaffer and husband, Bob, Corey Dodge and wife, Teresa, Carmen Burden and husband, Ty, and Matt Dodge and wife, Stacey; several great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Frank Womack and wife Merle Ann of Baxter Springs, KS; 1 sister Juanita Blodgett of Stanwood, WA; and a host of friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Pastor Phil Shyers will officiate. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers. Interment at Walker Cemetery, West of Welch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Church, youth mission trip, 130 "A" N.E. Miami, OK 74354.
