Paul Mark Wallace's Obituary
Paul Mark Wallace, 79, of Welch, Okla., passed away at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Tulsa on July 23, 2021.
He was born May 1, 1942 in Bethany, Okla. to Harold E. and Hazel E. (Matti) Wallace. After graduating high school, Paul entered into the workforce. On June 6, 1962, he married the love of his life, the former Judy Woolman, in a ceremony in Miami, Okla. They made their home in Welch where they raised their two children.
He worked several years for APAC, driving a truck and hauling dirt, rock, and asphalt for new road construction. He then went to work for himself hauling for whoever needed his services. After retirement, he loved to fish, work in his garage, and tinker with anything he thought he could fix.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Wallace, and two sisters, Thelma Walker and Ida Mae Long.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two children, Sherri Swinehart and husband Daniel of Oklahoma City, and Terry Wallace of Miami; sister, Edith Cox of Tuscaloosa, AL; two grandchildren, Lindsey Norton and husband C.J., and Chris Swinehart; two great grandchildren, Cameron Norton and Grant Norton; along with several nieces and nephews.
At Paul's request, no formal service will be held. He will be laid to rest in the Pheasant Hill cemetery following a private family service.
