Oscar David Custar Jr.'s Obituary
Oscar David Custar Jr., 61, of Fairland, Oklahoma passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 surrounded by his family. Mr. Custar was born on September 7, 1959 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Oscar Sr. and Shirley Jean (Terrell) Custar. He graduated from Okemah High School with the Class of 1977 he then attended Okmulgee Tech which is now OSU Okmulgee for two years. He married the love of his life Vivian A. Lantz on December 4, 1982. He worked as a Senior Systems Tech for Alcatel-Lucent Technology which allowed him to work all over the country. One of his joys was trips to the ocean. Mr. Custar was preceded in passing by his mother Shirley Custar.
Survivors are his father Oscar David Custar Sr. of Okemah, his wife Vivian Custar of the home, his children Shea Mourer and her husband Ty of Fairland and Scott Custar and his wife Elisa of Mineola, Texas. Other survivors include his brothers Donny Custar of Ardmore, Danny Custar of Okemah and his sister Dala Grissom of Shawnee, Oklahoma along with his grandchildren Shealyn Custar, Andrew Alberry, Adam Alberry and Keegan Custar.
Mr. Custar’s wishes were to be cremated. Cremation Services are in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
