Ola Mae (Hildebrand) Ward's Obituary
Ola Mae (Hildebrand) Ward, 89, a longtime resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Grandwood Assisted Living in Grove, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Ola Mae was born on July 26, 1935, in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, to Sam and Alice (Harris) Hildebrand. She graduated from Commerce High School and later attended college. She married Billy Jack Ward and would spend many years together until his passing in 1997. Ola Mae worked for Tinker Air Force Base until her retirement. After retirement she worked at a work center helping special needs adults. She will always be remembered as a selfless individual who worked her life as a servant of others. She was a proud member of the Wyandotte Nation and lived her life as a child of Christ. Ola Mae is preceded in passing by her parents, Sam and Alice Hildebrand, husband, Billy Jack Ward, son, Billy Dale Ward, daughter DeAnna Vineyard, grandson, Billy Jack Ward II, sisters, Pauline Keffer and Georgia Gettle, brothers, Norman Hildebrand and Frank Hildebrand.
Survivors include her brothers Sam Hildebrand and his wife Delores and Marvin Hildebrand, sister, Roma Qualls, daughter in-law, Donna Ward, grandchildren, Adrienne Ward, Stacey Smith and her husband Jeffery, Cody Ward, Emily Ward, great grandchildren, Tyler Meek, Ashleigh Tune, Denton Ward, Shaely Smith, Jonah Smith, Morgan Brownson, and three great grandchildren with one on the way.
