O. Ruth Sheldon's Obituary
Olive Ruth Sheldon of Fairland went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was born to George & Maggie Hunt on July 27, 1925 in Chelsea. She was a member of Fairland Assembly of God Church. She retired from NE Area Vo-Tech as a teacher aid in hospitality. She was a professional Cake Decorator too. She is preceded in death by husband James Sheldon, two sons Cecil Ray Bryant & Larry Dewey Bryant, two sisters Lorene McCaled & Aleta Shrum.
She is survived by two daughters Madaline & husband Jerry Kropff of Afton, Oklahoma and Paula & husband John Garrett of Houston, Texas. One daughter-in-law Sandy Bryant of Wills Point, Texas. Grandchildren; Kelley Rogers, Beth Rudolph, Bryan Bryant, Brad Bryant, Jason Kropff, Laura Stone, Jesse Hicks, and Anna Noble. Many great grandkids, 1 great-great-grandchild & another on the way. She is also survived by four sisters; Sue Beu of Collinsville, Oklahoma., Naomi Harrington of Bartlesville, Oklahoma., Frances Cheek of Turley, Oklahoma., Arvagene Sparling of Cory Alene, Idaho. Lots of nieces, nephews & many friends.
Visitation will be 6-8PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
Services are 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at First Assembly of God in Fairland with Reverend Jackie Crafton officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairland Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
