Norma J. Rudd's Obituary
Norma J. Rudd, of Chetopa, KS, passed away February 6, 2013 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO. She was 83 years old. Norma was born October 20, 1929 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Jack and Edna (Barker) Johnson. She attended school in Oswego, Kansas. She was married to Bobby J. Rudd. The couple made their home in Chetopa, KS where Norma worked for the Labette County School System for many years before retiring. She loved being a homemaker, going to church and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband, Bob; 1 son Robert Joe Rudd of Fredonia, KS; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 nephew; and a host of friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Lake Creek Cemetery, West of Bartlett, Kansas. Rev. Randy Frazier will officiate. Interment following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Bible Church, P.O. Box 274, Chetopa, KS 67336.
