Nora J. Greenfeather's Obituary
Nora J. Greenfeather, 85, a resident of Afton, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born in Afton on August 1, 1935 to Abraham L. and Agnes Geneva (Hogan) Chandler. Nora worked at boarding home and nursing facilities all working on the kitchen staff. She enjoyed dancing and sharing family pictures that she would keep. Mrs. Greenfeather was preceded in passing by her parents Abraham Chandler and Agnes Blythe, her husband Wayman Greefeather and daughters Trish Greenfeather and Diana Greenfeather her siblings JC Chandler, Geneva Miller, Mary Foren, Preston Chandler, Alton “Red” Chandler, Gloria Bassett, Dwayne Chandler, Rhonda Hilton, Jerry Chandler and Gary Chandler.
Survivors include her son Wayne Leroy Greenfeather and his wife Mitzie of Granby, Missouri, her daughter Brenda Blythe and her husband Ellis of Afton, her sisters Jaunita Woolever of Joplin, Missouri and Carolyn Mercer of Miami, her grandchildren Crystal Greenfeather, Mandy Greenfeather, Jacob Roden, Justin Roden, Brian Blythe, April Johnson, her great grandchildren Skyler Sanders, Xander Roden, Jaylynn Blythe, McKenin Blythe and Jaydon Blythe, Jacob Leroy Roden, Nikki Orman, Daniel Arwood, Makaila Watkins, Brandon Lloyd, Tyler Lloyd, and great great grandchildren Jackson Myles, Theo Orman and Cooper Orman.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
Services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, May 21, 2021 at First Christian Church in Afton with Minister Leon Weece officiating. Interment will follow at the Sixkiller Cemetery in Afton under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
