Mrs. Myrtle D. Morrow's Obituary
Myrtle Dorothy (Johnson) Morrow, 92, a resident of Miami, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Miami Nursing Center. Mrs. Morrow was born on April 28, 1919 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ezra and Hallie (Chatfield) Johnson. Myrtle worked all her life caring for family and working the farm and also did sewing for people that needed her services. Mrs. Morrow moved to Miami, Oklahoma around 1994. She belonged to the WMU in Commerce, she enjoyed the Senior Citizens Organization in Miami, traveling when possible, reading and enjoying her family. Myrtle was preceded in death by husbands Charles Cary who passed June 20, 1954 and Veryl Morrow who passed away on August 1, 1964, her parents Ezra and Hallie, her son Robert James Cary, a daughter Barbara Ann Cary, five sisters Mary Wheat, Sally Heath, Mildred Johnson, Josephine Astle and Lucille Curtiss, two brothers Wilbur Johnson and Fredrick Johnson
Survivors include her daughters Nancy Lee Helmer of Ionia, Michigan, Ruby Alice Ballard of Ohio, Rose Marie Graham of Miami, her sons Samuel Charles Cary of Belleville, Michigan and Lawrence Morrow of Ionia, Michigan. A sister Betty Neidhart of Saint Louis, Missouri Along with seven grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
There will be Visitation at the Church from 10:00 AM until service time
Funeral Services are Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00PM at Day Bible Chapel in Saranac, Michigan with Reverend Frank Lattimore officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Winters Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma.
