Michael David Wensink's Obituary
Michael David Wensink, 23, a lifelong resident of Miami, Okla., departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his home. He was born March 4, 1993 in Miami to Gary Lee Wensink and Robin Lynn Armstrong. Michael served his country in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge after several years of service. He was currently attending college to further his education. He had a deep love for his family. He was an active person who loved paint balling, air soft, archery, and working on electronics. He also enjoyed gaming. While on this earth, he mourned the loss of his maternal grandmother, Helen Jo Armstrong and his paternal grandparents, Gerritt and Rose Wensink. Those already missing him, and will continue to miss him each day, include his mother, Robin Armstrong of the home in Miami; his father, Gary Wensink of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 3 brothers, Alexander Wensink of Chattanooga, Tenn., Matthew Wensink of Columbia, Tenn., and Christopher Wensink of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his grandfather John "Jack" Armstrong of Miami; along with numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. A service to honor and remember Michael will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Welch Christian Church. Minister David Scott will officiate.
