Marilyn Faye Rutledge's Obituary
Marilyn Faye Rutledge, 84, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Tuesday evening, June 21st, 2022, at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
She was born March 4th, 1938 in Wichita to Archie and Marguerite (Stoner) Edwards. She worked many years in the meat packing industry. She was married to Jay Rutledge for 54 years. He passed away December 5th, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Marjean Sparks.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory Rutledge and wife Jacque of Wichita, and Gerald Rutledge of Miami, OK; two sisters, Nelda Goodwin and husband Larry, and Carolyn Stands; a brother-in-law, Jerry Rutledge and wife Mary, and Jack Rutledge and wife Patty.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25th, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. The graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., following the visitation, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chetopa, KS.
