Marie E. Mitchell's Obituary
Marie E. Mitchell passed away Tuesday morning October 6, 2009 in Vinita, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years. Marie was born September 16,1923 in Miami, Oklahoma to her parents J.R. and Mattie Houston Jameson.
Marie has resided in the Miami area her entire life. She loved to garden and tend her flowers.
Although she is no longer with us, her memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends she leaves behind which include:
Two daughters: Judy and husband Jack Horner of Langley, Oklahoma and Linda Vanatta of Vinita, Oklahoma. Marie is survived by 1 granddaughter and a host of longtime friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Edsel Mitchell, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
